ABOUT ME
I began my career in marketing over twenty years ago and I have be fiercely passionate about the field ever since. I have held leadership positions at several large medical device organizations and med tech marketing agencies where I have launched products, implemented innovative marketing programs and brought companies online through social media and the mobile web.
For the past several years, I have worked as a marketing strategy and branding consultant for medical and life science companies and agencies. I have experience in building marketing strategy, launching products and extensive online marketing — web development, content marketing, social media, search engine optimization and other digital strategies.
My company, Valid Ideas, offers a full suite of social media management services, and extensive content marketing services including: copywriting, lifestyle photography, product photography, videography & video editing, sound recording & editing and Adobe After Effects.
Since graduating with a BA in Communication, I have completed a Professional Marketing Certificate and an MBA in Marketing. I now teach Marketing, Public Relations and Businesses courses at Santa Barbara City College and Antioch University, both online and in person.
When I’m not working or teaching, I spend my time kicking around the soccer field, hiking, working out at my local pilates studio, or cooking up some local farmer’s market fare.
